Razor Referral

I have a razor and I need some help. I have 6/8" Challenge Cutlery blade. Not a fancy blade and not much of a pedigree. That said, It has a good edge on it and some brand new camel bone scales. Problem is, I'm the one who put the scales on and the job I did sucks. I'm looking for someone that can take this mess apart, sand the scales to appropriate thickness and remount the blade so that it centers for a reasonable price. Suggestions?

They are bulkier than I like and the blade has some tension that keeps it from closing properly. As I said, This was my first shot at it and just think it could be better. I agree. I like the look and shape, just thought it was too bulky. If you think thinning the scales would not be worthwhile, I'll go with you opinion.
