Default Can you ID this one?

I bought this one of the auction in hope it could be the coticule. However when I got it out of box there is no backing at all.
Size is 7 1/4"x1.5"x7/8". Very smooth with light olive green/yelow colour with few pink ish/ orange spots. Any ideas?

Dunno, could be a coticule. The only thing that throws me is the orange spots. Then again they could be stains on the surface ? Since it was in a wooded container it may have gotten out with no backing ? More folks will be along with their input. Whatever it is it looks good. I'm interested in hearing how it works for you.

Forgot to write. For flattening and slurry comming out when lapping it is the same as from coticule. Those spots are deep. I had to take ou few mm to flatten it. It was not straight cut block like coticule but the back was recognisable as natural hone.
