Thread: hi_bud_gl honing method

Someone better start listening to hi_bud_gl when he talks about finish honing. He recently posted about popping hairs with a 4k and then the 8k until the hairs "fall off" and then 5-8 laps with the 16k and
2-5 laps on the .5 crox bench strop. Well, let me tell you, baby, this method is worth checking out. I have been searching for the perfect edge for forty years and this is as close as I have come. If he wasn't so ugly, I would give him a big kiss............ !!!!!!

Sorry about the UGLY remark. I'm just a natural born wiseguy.

I had 2 razors that wouldn't quite get to shave-ready by my normal procedure so I tried hi_bud_gl's method from his post and "viola", really comfortable shaves. It's a fast and simple way to finish an edge.
