    Default HONING ART?

At first i have to mention credit of this job doesn't belong to me.It has to go someone which has done wonderful job and GOD REST HIS SOUL.
I am amazed what kind a honing at that time people were doing.
This is what i think about this blade.
Owner made smile face and as a result remove some metal(he didn't care about the metal i assume) get the result what he likes.
if you pay attention to the edge you will see doesn't matter what stroke you use while you shave this blade will cut as a
    SMITHING MOTION .
    BLADE DOES SHAVE WONDERFUL.
    enjoy guys

By the way my camera is sucks. i tried to take close up picture edge not sure how it come out.

That is a beautiful smile, Sham! I can't imagine how much work it must have been for the original owner to carve that much metal away, so beautifully!

Very cool. I wonder over how many years the razor was
    honed, and how frequently?

Wow! This really is a beautiful wade and butcher, I have never seen one honed like that. How do you always find these rarities, Sham?!

I can't even begin to imagine how to hone a razor to smile like that.

Well, I just posted this thread on coticule.be because we were discussing smiles on razors. I found it surprising because Bart mentioned how the razor was ruined and honed to pretty much unstable quality. You can see it over there, I just found it interesting that over there this razor is ruined but here people find it great.

IMHO somewhere down the line someone honed a chip out of the end towards the point. Simple as that. Not ruined but not pristine by any means. Sham says it shaves great so obviously it isn't ruined.

In My first Post (OP ) i mention This job hasn't done by me. I wish i was the person did such a job.
My knowledge about this blade is same as rest of the people who sees pictures.
Except i have 1 advantage. i have shaved with it.
What made me wonder it has been honed the way doesn't matter how you use this blade it will cut hairs scything motion. Seems like if you do straight down stroke it splits in the middle right and left side scything motions.
Lastly This Blade is WEDGE Blade.
Now it could had chips ,nicks etc before honing i have no idea. it could be? of course?
If someone thinks it is ruined i would love to know what makes this blade ruined blade?
i should have couple Sheffield with smiling face and some BRUMMEL WHICH made smile face by factory.

I am sure there is more knowledgeable people out there and will come help us on this issue.
