That was my point when I first saw it. It just didn't make any sense and I thought ok here we go again somebody who knows little about JNats trying to pull some unsuspecting buyer into the trap by making it sound fancy.
I'll be honest I'm certainly no expert on JNats by any means but this one smells :-) If I'm wrong I'll admit it but until then.

I have gotten a few of his small slurry stones and they are very good.
Glen has a Kiita from him and IIRC said it was a good stone.

Many of these ultra expensive stones are coveted and collected in Japan and the honing qualities have little to do with the reason. It's about the rarity and coloration and origin. Probably they are great honers but those who collect don't use them as such.


Think about going to a museum and looking at the rock and mineral collection and many of the specimens are rare and higly valued.

Well I visited the stone we've been talking about and it didn't sell and has been re-listed.
