Thread: Looking for a few Naniwa users !!!!!

I am looking for just a few "experienced" Naniwa SS users to verify some results I am getting...

Need at least 1k-3k/5k-8k-12k either the 3k or 5k will do... if you finish on a stone after the 12k that might work too...
A few (3-5) razors you are familiar with, and have honed on your Naniwa's
The gumption to hone your razors using a prescribed method, and shaving them for comparison to you old method....



If yer game, let me know right here in this thread... would love to have at least 3 people but more would be great....

I would love to join in but my naniwas are on the way to Missouri. I sent them to a friend who doesn't have them to try them. They are scheduled for delivery on Tuesday so maybe he will jump in to the fray. When I had them I would set a bevel on the 1k, pyramid on the 3/5k, finish on the 8k and if I wanted to ...... and I usually did, go on to the 12k.

I just did a Henckels on my 5, 8, and 12k, then Escher...I have the whole Nani set...

I have the 200, 400, 1k, 2k, 3k, 5k, 8k, 10k, 12, and 18k. Unfortunately I'm short on time right now and I also realized...

that I haven't been using any razors that I have honed on the Naniwas!

I've still been using my toys still maintained with just barber hones.

I'll volunteer to be one of the ones beyond the three. I'll hone up a few of my razors my way first and then will be ready to do what I'm told.



Oh, and I was just kidding about the 18k. I just wanted to get a rise out of a few of you hone fanatics!
