    Default SCS New Spice EDT

I got a bottle of St. Charles Shave New Spice in a trade a few months ago. With all the rave reviews about it, I was curious.

I was in Boston this weekend, and found myself in Colonial Drug on Brattle Street. I tried some of their testers of T&H colognes. I had been meaning to try Spanish Leather, and lo and behold, it reminded me of New Spice! Enough that it did not make sense to plunk down $75 for a bottle.

The amazing thing about New Spice is, unlike most other scents I use, I have received compliments from women every single time with the New Spice - coworkers and even perfect strangers. Apparently, many others have had the same experience.

Scent (8)- I don't have the nose for a detailed description, but it is a sweet, spicy scent, with hints of caramel and patchouli. It is strong, so a little application goes a long way. Be aware that it is not a neutral scent, you either like it or hate it.

Lasting power (10) - lasts all day on me

Packaging (7) - simple bottle. I wish the atomizer delivered a smaller amount

Price (10) - $14 is a great price for this.

Thanks for the info.I'm getting to have too many aftershaves/colognes but I'll keep it in mind. Not too expensive either.
