Castle Forbes "Lime After Shave Balm"
Got this aftershave balm from The Different Scent in Berlin. Kudos to Jens and Nick!
Packaging: As with all Castle Forbes products, you get a lovely box. The product comes in a very nice glass bottle. Easy to open and close even with slightly slick hands. Just make sure not to drop it.
Price: It certainly is a pricey product, but it also last a very long time. I think the price is okay.
Burn/Bite: None at all. The product is alcohol free and contains soothing components. It is not as great for sensitive skin as CF Lavender AS, and does an almost equally good job at helping to heal minor nicks.
Moisturising: More than enough, and in a very pleasant way, too.
Scent: Heavenly, if you like lime, which I do. Fits well with the rest of the CF Lime line. For me, CF offers the best smelling lime shaving products in the market.
Overall: My second favourite aftershave. If used with the rest of CF's Lime line, it is quite the perfect setup for me, beaten by a margin by CF's Lavender line.

ok I just recieved a sample of CF Lime Balm today, I have to say Im a little dissapointed with the scent. When I first opened the bottle I thought it smelled like Pine Sol , so I then put some on the back of my hand and it stil smelled like Pine Sol. When the wife got home she saw the small bottle on the table and said Oh you got your Lime aftershave you have been talking about, I told her put a little on your hand and tell me what you think. She looked at me and said I hate to tell you but it smells a little like that stuff you clean with, it smells piney. I said like Pine Sol ? and she said yes.
