Thumbs up Acca Kappa "White Moss" After Shave Emulsion

I got this together with the matching shave cream from the good people at The Different Scent in Berlin.

Packaging: Nice cardboard box. Equally nice tube. Clean, stylish design, very modern. I like it a lot.

Price: Reasonable at USD 25 for 125ml at the time of writing.

Burn/Bite: None at all. "Made with Green Tea and Shea Butter, this non oily formula is easily absorbed into the skin. Helps prevent fine lines." I'm not sure the latter is a unique selling proposition for me, but you never know...

Moisturising: It is advertised as a moisturising lotion that prevents and protects the skin from irritation and redness. And it does just that. It leaves the skin supple, yet with a dry touch. If you've ever tried Shiseido's products, you know what I mean. Overall, very pleasant.

Scent: This smell is fresh and clean, being dominated by two Mediterranean plants: Lavender and Juniper. It is also a lot stronger than that of the shave cream, and lingers for quite some time. If you use Armani White perfume, this is the perfect complementary scent. If not, you should get a sample before buying, and it might well clash with your perfume.

Overall: I like matching creams and after shaves. I don't quite like Acca Kappa's product line enough to abandon my Castle Forbes products, but given their significantly lower price, they might be a nice alternative. Especially for those of you who shun classic smells.
