Glad Im not the only one who thinks it burns. My goodness you really feel like a man after you put it on. I LOVE the scent. I use it as a hair tonix instead of an aftershave tho.

oh yeah...it'll light up your face for the first few seconds but...I think those of us that like it are going for the old school barber shop days and the bit of burn is almost expected as part of it I guess...

I started using this in the barber shop just recently.. The old barber that was there told me that people didnt like it so he stopped using it. Since have started using it I have heard nothing but fond statements about it and comments like "this is what a barber shop is supposed to smell like".

I personally love it and the bay rum.

I've loved this stuff since I was a kid going to my dad's favorite barbershop.
Smells "old world" wonderful.
Doesn't sting that much if I mix it with a balm. By its self it can sting, but I never use it that way.
Moisturizing + alcohol? Nope, doesn't mix.
I'd recommend it to anyone.

When I use the clubmen I get a lot of positve comments from the gals. Its affordable
and is a good everyday aftershave lotion. I would recomend it. I have used differant
kinds of aftershave and I find what smells good on others dont always smell good
on me.
