This is a great product with a great scent. I love The Body Shop products and this one is of the same caliber. After application your skin feels smooth and non-greasy. You are left with a cool sensation but there is no burn with the application of this product. At 14.00 for 3.3 ounces you might think the price is a little steep, however, a little goes a long long ways. Don't forget the sales at The Body Shop.. now offering a free product when you buy any two of their skin care line. I bought their Maca Root Shaving Creme, Pre Shave Oil and this product for 30.00.. Ten dollars per item is very reasonable. I hope this helps. I'm truly enjoying using this product.

Packaging -I give this product a 10 on packaging. I find the squeeze top tube for this gel/lotion to be convienient for me to use and apply just the right amount, rather than trying to poor from a bottle, spilling and or wasting a liquid solution.

Price - Compared to others I've used this product compares or is less expensive, and if you buy it on sale, you can't beat the price.

Burn / Bite -There is no burn or bite to this Razor Relief gel/lotion. There is however, a pleasant cool after sensation that last maybe ten minutes. The sensation is enjoyable.

Moisturising - Not as moisturising as AOS Sandlewood, but it is a differen product all together. AOS leaves a mild film on your face and this does not. It is moisturizing and does not dry your skin. It leave the skin with a very smooth sensation and feel.

Scent - I enjoy the Maca Root product scent very much. It is distinctive and masculine, but not overpowering like some can be. It is not so mild as not to notice it. I believe it is just the right scent at just the right srength of fragrance.

Overall - Overall this is a fantastic product with a fantastic scent at a good price, fantastic price is found on sale! It moisturizes well and has no burn or bite. You'll enjoy the mild cool sensation you are left with after an application of Razor Relief that subsides quickly.

I posted a query in the Maca Root Shave Cream thread, but I guess I really should have posted it here. My apologies.

I'm looking for a product to use after the alum block and before my aftershave (splash/lotion). I don't have access to a lot of products locally, but The Body Shop is everywhere. I already use their Maca Root shave cream, so I was wondering about their Razor Relief. It's a bit pricey for me to just buy and experiment with, so I thought I'd ask first. How soothing is it? How greasy? (I currently use Gillette Fusion after shave gel, and it works pretty well, so that's my benchmark.)
