Default TOBS Sandalwood Luxury Aftershave Gel

I've used many Post shave balms, creams, and lotions. Taylor of Old Bond St really hits it out of the park with this one. This is a gel, make no mistake. It has a consistency of Petroleum Jelly and a very strong old fashioned Sandalwood fragrance. Strong enough to last for hours after you apply it. Seems the only way to loose the fragrance is to wash it off.
At $23.00 for 75ml or 2.5 oz. available at Smallflower, it's a bargain for those days when you need something to put out the fire. I wouldn't use this everyday, although you could...

Packaging: Nothing fancy, Simple tube design, very efficient.

Price: A little expensive, as I mentioned 23 usd for 2.5oz, but compared to other stuff, including artisan offerings, this is a bargain...

Burn/Bite: Alcohol free, no bite, very soothing.....

Moisturising: I give it a 10, This stuff is thick, like Petroleum Jelly. Guaranteed to put out the fire...Great for those days....

I agree 100% The first time I used this I was amazed at the thickness, scent, and the ability to relieve the skin. It does have a very strong sandlewood smell and it does last a very long time. I myself work a ton (16 hours days sometimes) I went 2 days w/o showering (yes that is gross seeing as I work in a factory setting) after shaving and putting sed product on. The next day at work I could still pick up a slight scent from the balm. I would and have recommended this to others. A great product.

I haven't tried the Sandalwood aftershave gel, but I tried the Mr. Taylor's aftershave gel. I actually didn't care for it--not one little bit. It left a thick, sticky film on my face and it didn't soothe at all. I think it did some moisturizing, but that's about it. Even more disappointing because of the name behind it and the price. I'm never buying it again. :-(
