Whiskey old-fashioned aftershave splash from the Portland General Store, Portland, Maine. "A small company that makes its personal care products by hand, in small batches, using basic and natural ingredients."

This aftershave took me by surprise. When I first opened the bottle my immediate reaction was, “no way.” A couple of smells and I became intrigued. After a moment of pondering, this is what I came up with... You’re deep in the woods with your chainsaw running. You just fell a hefty fir tree and poured Hoppe’s No. 9 Solvent all over the freshly cut stump. Take a whiff. There's a lot of moss/pine smell

The packaging is neat. I do enjoy the antique look. My only complaint is the lack of application stopper. I end up pouring too much in my paw and it goes down the drain. 118 mL doesn't last long with most of it disappearing in the sink. No moisturizing, no burn. The scent doesn't seem to linger. I'll get a few hours out of it.

Manly? Very.
Whiskey? Maybe.
Good? I do like it.
Does my ladyfriend? Surprisingly she does. A lot.
