    Hummmm i jave one that looks just the same... im almost sure the scales are horn very old... its almost wedge.... but no marks on this one's tang... u guys think its the same manufacturer???

    My opinion... an active auction should not be posted unless its yours.
    A buy it now should have no problems.
    If your enterested in something and want opinions then dl the pics and post them without links. It might be a little safer that way.

    But what do i know.

    Yes, simply linking to an auction is a waste of forum space without a picture.
    The pictures go away after a while and then there is a thread with no way to see what it is about.

    Also that razor is not 1840s, it is 1830-37 from the King William mark. I don't know where he got that bit about piquee-pinning only lasting from 1840-50. That is... not right. And the escutcheon plate is likely a base metal and not actual silver.
