Do you know what hone is that?
Hey,
I found this one on allegro.pl, any idea what kind of hone is that? The seller doesn't provide any additional info, just the price and that it's antique. It looks like prewar hone, mostlikely german.

I was looking at that hone myself. At first i was thinking that it might be a dirty coticule but its probably not. Hard to tell without lapping .
Wojtek Shhhh Don't tell anybody about Allegro :-)

It looks like the stone needs cleaning, then it will be easier to tell what it is.

Lodz. My dad bought a nice hone recently, it's supposed to be Thuringian. Real bargain, he got it for $8 or so. It just came today, when I find some time I will clean it and lapp it.

I saw that one but label put me off . It does not say a word about razors.I even try to google that brand but no luck. But it could be fine though. Where you from Wojtek ?

No label = no Escher
Interesting website
The stone from the op looks like a synthetic to me. There's always a chance something nice is hiding under a lot of dirt but I would not risk money on this one.
