Is mockery allowed in this forum?
Rule #2 in the Mod's stickey thread says:
"2. We are here to help one another in a friendly, civil and informative manner so please do not post adverse comments as they do nothing to help anyone. We are here to have fun with our hobby/obsession of straight razors."
Now does the "adverse comments" pertain to ebay sellers that are obviously hawking wares that are misleading/grossly overpriced/misrepresented?
For those that follow regretsy, the site dedicated to mocking etsy, one of the best features is "compare and save!" (Compare and Save! | Regretsy)
After seeing another ebay seller hawking a "rare collectible" he found on amazon for 4X the price, I have the irresistible urge to mock.

The Mods are not to be messed with around here, but perhaps some light mockery in order to prevent a fellow shaver from being hoodwinked might be ok. Not my fault though if you get banned for a day or two.

In that case, said mockery is entirely resistible.

I think alerting members to Ebay traps and misleading sales can be done in a non-mocking fashion. Turning to the "dark side" is never necessary although it does appear attractive from time to time.

what Dad calls me
The best thing to do is to post a link to a sales and let the seller embarrass himself. This is done quite frequently here.
