    Default Inherited razors

I recently inherited about 15 razors - all quite old.

Friend of mine collects and pointed me here for advice on what to do with them. Sell, figure out value (clueless) etc..

Anyone wanna point me to a next step?

We don't do valuations on SRP but we would be more than happy to help you identify the razors. Hopefully, if you choose, some if not all could be cleaned up and honed so you can enjoy wet shaving.

Yeah I'm not looking for values for resale, just advice on what they are and if it's worthwhile to continue the collection or if i should sell. I took the time to read through a lot of posts on here before asking, I have a rough idea of what's what.

So, if there's people in the know on here, who dont mind being helpful I would like to see what they are and how bad off hey are. I took a cpl pics ill try to host and have the info on the blades, as far as i can make it out.

    the blades say :

3 - JA Hellburg - skydds marke on blade

    1 - Sheffield - 51 - s

    1 - Robi - Klaas - Ohligs - Solingen

1 - Alered Williams - Sheffield - Medium Hollow Ground

    1 - Just has a panther/tiger cat image

    1 - Ontario Cutlery - Geneva NY

1 - Rogers Cutlery - The Army and Navy on blade

    1 - Hollinger Hand Made

1 - DLA? Seahorse like image? Germany

1 - JC Leinekin - Oxford Ohio - Perky Peggy

    1 - Wade and Butcher - has a "B - arrow - star" image?

    1 - Gebr Muller - Stuttgart - 65

    2 - EK Tryon - Philadelphia - 3/T

Post the pics. But from just reading your list it sounds like a good collection.

It looks like a good assortment of razors, primarily Sheffield. The only loser I saw was in the lower left of the 3rd pic down with the yellow scales/handles, the blade damage is just too much. Other than that it all looks good!

I would say that if your not going to become a straight razor user; then sell them off and let the straight users enjoy them.
    All of them will sell.

There may be WTB ads up for old sets that need restoration such as these.
