Default What They don't know hurts them

Just picked up a dovo strop Col Conk hone and Pearlex Dovo in a set for 53$ on ebay, because the fellow selling didn't label it as anything special..looks like the package was't even opened! awesome deal! Yea for me!

Ebay item: 170684917187 it is hard to make out details because of the bad pics.. I had to do a little sluething.
Sorry, thanks for asking..it made me learn something new on my ipad (I really don't like the virtual keyboard). When you look up the listing it doesn't say what brand it is, so I emailed the seller and asked...He (or she, whatever) said that it was a Col Conk brand new in the wrapper. So I looked up the set on the Col Conk site and it sells for something like $283.00. I put my bid up to 65$ and lucked out. It is nice to get a break once in awhile. Maybe it will make up for all the cracked blades, bad descriptions and the usual burns you get often on the bay.

Hello, Wintchase. Good show on that purchase. Yes, yes, you're right, some of the items sold on eBay wouldn't even make it in the flea market of the doomed.

Good deals on Eboy come up all the time. You just have to be able to find them and be lucky too.I've scored some great deals over the years.

Just in case any newbies are reading this, and are getting ready to run off to eBay in search of the next hidden treasure, I took the liberty of pointing out some important parts of the post:

It takes some leg work and a little bit of luck to find great deals on eBay.

    Wintchase earned that one.
    Nice work!

It's like betting on the horses. Sometimes a long-shot pays off big.
