Well, the seller says it's a Robert Williams. It appears to have his trademark "R", and looks to be in his style. No reason to think anyone else made it, I think. But I'm not a Robert Williams expert. Maybe someone else should weigh in. Certainly looks like a good price if he made it, though.

It certainly looks like a Williams, though I don't personally own one...

    Fantastic price, really.

It certainly looks like one of Robert's.

I don't understand the person who bought it.
Why would you pay a customs maker mucho dineros for a blade that you use only once and then put it away?
Seems like a silly thing to do. You might as well not have bought it in the first place.

Jeez, that was a bargain. The seller must have really needed the money...

Not that much of a bargain.
I mean at 370$ it is certainly not pricey, but I bet it is close enough to what it must have cost when he bought it.

    I believe this is correct.
That razor looks like one of RW's earlier work, and prices were a tad lower than what the new ones catch today.
Another point is that a custom might not always fetch the highest prices on ebay.
    I'd have used the classifieds.

It looke like an earlier work indeed. The scales do not look like they were made from an exotic material, and the steel is -probably- not a specialty steel.

Don't kid yourself the earlier razors he made were not as polished as the later ones but shave wise they are every bit as good. I have one of the first razors he made and though it has some interesting issues no razor out there shaves better.

I see the seller said he needed the money.
