    Default Buyer Beware

I spotted this on the Bay, and was interested. But I noticed that only one side of the scales was photographed. and the other items were never shown in full either for that matter.

I wrote to them and inquired about any dents or scratches and received an answer of "They are all used items and old items. None are mint..."

So I wrote them back, asking for a detailed description of any damages that are present and received an answer of "They are all used but still usable. None are perfect"

Anybody considering bidding on Item Number
250898771738 should give some serious consideration to the fact that condition questions are being evaded.
I for one, see no reason to bid any higher, since as far as I am concerned it may be little more value than scrap. Hells, it may even be a plastic scale on the reverse side!

Just kind of pisses me off, ya know?

Can't really tell about the other side of the scales but the blade is in pretty ordinary shape. I wouldn't be bidding on that if you're just after the razor, certainly not if you plan on using it.

Looks like the heal is chipped and cracked anyway so i doubt it could be restored

Well, as a collector's piece it's interesting. Though I don't restore razors, the pictures imply a heck of a lot of work and a great potential for failure.

Still, as I said, interesting. I'd try to pay a lot less for it myself.

I'd like some silver scales, and like to gamble. I hadn't noticed these item, thanks for pointing them out!
