Thread: Vintage Dovo 7 day set

I wouldn't call it a bargain, based on my experience, rather par for the course. Nice set and the $500 area is about right. I paid about the same for a pre-war Fritz Bracht/Dovo set in mint condition. Luck of the draw type of thing. Nice set though and the buyer didn't pay too much from the look of it. Just IMHO.

AFAIAC it has maxxed out in price, fun to watch but I would not bid.

I realize that most collectors are interested in the vintage 7 day sets, but I find it interesting that one could probably purchase a new 7 day dovo set directly from the factory for around $500 (perhaps a little more if you selected a higher end razor). Though it would take them three months to make it and send it to you.
I guess just something to keep in mind for folks who want a 7 day set for the practical reasons.
