Honestly, given my friend Traveller, I thought there was no way in hell I'd win this one, but I got lucky. I think it'll clean up nicely, and the seller is very good, from past experience.
JL oughta crack a fat over it, at least.

Not really sure of that brand, but I do agree it should clean up fairly easy. Even the scales look good. With brass pins you could take the scales off to clean the blade and put new pins back on without being able to tell.

    Joe,

It's funny we just talked about stuff...

I had a low snipe on this one, didn't even go through. Up to a few hours ago looked as if almost nobody's interested and I was hoping to get by cheap... Because I thought it's kinda unknown but I loved the grind, very nice curves

    Nice catch - enjoy!

ps I got this, looks bad and scales are shot but seems like a nice antique blade by a good manufacturer

I have one very similar to that, but by a different maker. It's different, and I like it.

    Joe,

my Joseph Rogers razor arrived today and I thought you might be interested to hear this: Heaviest wedge under 8/8 I have seen. Seems almost convex; really fat (but short) tang. I think any wedge lover would drool if he sees this,
really nice and unusual grind, from a good manufacturer There are a couple of tiny nicks, but I've removed much worse than them and am sure would not be an issue at all. It's from a set, that's the Tuesday (etched on the top of the spine)

Scales are totally shot, worm holes and one is totally broken... but with some rust removal, polishing, and new scales this baby might well be a centerpiece!

    Cheers
    Ivo
