Personally I don't find the theory of fakes plausible at all, it's just way too much work to copy razors like that to make a profit. And we would have known about it already if they were I'm sure.

I love it when you see these "check out this low priced amazing thing"

Then about 5-10 guys secretly shaking their fist at the OP for blowing a potential bargain.

Oh eBay, I love to hate you.

I agree. If I were to go to this much trouble to create a razor, why not brand it as my own? Not only making the money, but getting the credit as well.

As much as the theory of fake or reproduction razors sounds implausible, it still begs the question: how can someone continue to provide the same three Filarmonica models of the same color (in unopened condition) for this long? I'm picking Filarmonica out of a handful-sized pool; I could easily ask the same thing about Globusmen or Les Croix... What I'm wary about isn't the fact that they are unopened or in nos condition, but rather, that the sellers have sold hundreds of these (and I'm not exaggerating the number). They are always advertised as "one of a kind," or in some other way that asserts the "once in a lifetime" gist; yet, give it a few weeks (or months) and another one of that same razor will appear for sale.

I am not arguing one way or the other, but we have all seen china products our entire lives, and it just seems the level of detail on the NOS razors is exceptional, from the paper wrap to the box to the little tags that hang off and fine detail of the razor (which is probably the easier part) it just seems to me if they were fakes they would not spend the time and money to get the level of detail these razors have, especially when they are only selling for 200$ average. I am not trying to convince anyone of my opinion, I don't have the expertise for that.

I just think they are real.

I feel they are the real deal. Someone here is going to buy at least one! I wish we could see the opening of the thing in a video. The cellophane thing is interesting. It seems that the several different brands are wrapped the same in it. I suppose the cellophane was the first thing to go, so it is possible that is what they did in this era. We have all seen rotten Otto Duesch Hans from cell rot. as well as goldedges. I wonder if they were not exposed to much air what the condition would be. Either really good or Bad? We need someone to put up a video as they open it!
Look at the Movember auctions in the BST!

The seller is offering a 7 day return on all of their merchandise and their feedback score is 100%. Other than coming to your house and delivering it, I don't know how much more accommodating they could be.

Cell Rot or Crotch Rot, you can't go wrong with a return policy like that; just 'sayin
