    All right I said I would post pictures of the C-Mon when it got here and it came today!!! Sent back the 9/16 for a 5/8 the seller had. This is the first "new" razor I have ever bought! And I think my RAD is a little out of control but now will lay off for a bit!! So here the pics!

    It probably doesn't need much honing. Try shaving some arm hair and then decide if it's worth trying a shave with it as is.

    Yeah, the standard of factory edges in the old days is not what it is today. You should give it a try as is.

    I received a NOS and unopened C-mon Royal with a blackened tang recently.
    The backside was marked Peter J. Michels, as was the box.
    No question in my mind about authenticity. This is the real deal

    The edge it came with was very close to what I would call shave ready.
    I gave it a good stropping, and got a decent shve out of it straight out of the box
