    So i bid on this badboy just for the heck of it, and i won! didnt think it would go that cheap..lol.. what do yall think about it!!

    That's crazy! I can imagine your happiness! It's funny how that works too. There's a few times I've not bid on something, just because I was certain it would go too high. Then come back later and find that I probably could have won if I had bid. It's just your lucky day it seems! Well done!

    Looks like a good pick up. I think that the seller making some pretty significant revisions to the auction listing probably put a few people off.

    I'd imagin also from the pics that many high bidders may have been put off by what seems to be alot of material off the edge, given how the tip looks. From what I have seen in other razors of that shape style I would have jumped on it as well as it is in very nice looking condition and has MANY years of life left in it.

    well it does look good to be like 1830s or earlier so its over 170 years old.. I was going to make a thread on this one and the wosty i just got but i know someone would have bid on them from here lol..

    Yep... I was bidding on it too. My computer screwed up and didn't update after your last bid. When it did update, it was gone. It is a mean looking blade though.

    I have bought some razors from Dave before, he is a straight seller. I think you will be plenty happy with that blade! Your lucky I didnt see it first!
