I had looked at it myself & quit looking at it when it went over $40, but if you really look at the photo's it looks like one of those that are two sided due to "dipping" one side in a finer "grit"/paste. The only way I would give that much dough is for a finishing stone...most barber stones are around the 6-8K range. There are a few out there that are fine enough to call finishers...but that one is unknown to me & looked like a normal every day barber stone. Please keep in mind that I am no barber stone expert by no means & a tightwad.
I have also had a bad transaction with this seller. I was supposed to be buying thuringian & ended up with a norton oilstone...quite the difference huh? That's not a seller bash, just a fact.
