Thread: But WHY?!?

This auction ended. (I prefer to only speak of ended auctions) and I am stumped by the price.

if you look on Amazon, you can get these brand new for 79 bucks plus shipping. Is it that people are just overzealous? or too lazy to bother LOOKING? or what? I just dont get it.

I think it's more simple. Whoever bought it really really really WANTED it. And everything else that occurred to you, never occurred to them. They were too busy WANTING it.

Looks like a bidding war occurred in the last minute or so, that's what happens when you get emotionally attached to an item you really want without looking elsewhere for the same or a similar item...I know, it recently happened to me to which I now regret. Oh well, live and learn.

It's called "auction fever" . Happens all the time .
