Thread: Good hone deal?

I am looking for some hones for a straight razor. Is it ideal to get a 3000 8000 and 12000 grit hone to sharpen a "shave ready" razor I got from:

I have heard that 8000 may be all I need - what do you think?

These are the hones I am looking at - are they a good deal? I am new so I do not really know.
