    Default Question about questions

If you look at an auction page it has that section that says......
Questions and answers about this item

    Ask a question.

    1. If you ask here it is posted on that page right ? And can the seller delete questions posted here ?

    2. But if you ask from My ebay page like where your bids list is [More Action v] then it is private ?

    3. And is it proper to ask things like ...." Did you sand it a little to hide the cell root or was that done by somebody else?"
or maybe " it's a nice old razor did you find it at the bottom of the ocean ?

Actually the seller will have the option to post your question to his listing or not, either way he will have the option to post it or not, i find that most dont post question unless you told him that his stone is actualy an Escher as an exampe. As far as being proper just remember that 98% of the sellers that do sell razors, have no idea about what they are selling.

Question #3 will probably get you blocked by the seller. There was one seller that kept posting a W&B chopper every few months and any time I saw it posted, I asked questions, but the questions and his answers were never posted on the auction. I was asking very detailed questions with the knowledge I have gained here, but I don't think the seller like that, I think he was hoping to cash in on some newbie and W&B hype. Funny thing now is the seller is no longer phishing in the bay.

I am never as mean as my post at all. I just wondered because I didn't want to ask a question like that if it did get posted. I have also wondered if other bidders where asking questions about an item or if I could without it being made public. Thanks for the info !!!!

There was a thread on here a while ago on how some members were questioning a seller on ebay and posting the question and answers on here, and somewhat making fun of his description or offerings and there really no need for that at all, and actually another member contacted the seller to apologize, like i was saying on my previous post most have no idea about razors.

Now you got me wondering if I have participated in this ??? Sometimes we find things funny and share these thoughts without concern for others feelings. This is one of those things that comes back to haunt me. I try to think and speak as I would in front of the person I am speaking about. I may be painfully truthful at times but expect the same in return. I see it as correcting a character flaw if it comes at me or a chance to explain myself. I would hope no one ever has to apologize for me. I have sent questions to sellers with the response that they don't really know razors at all. I might explain they should ad this in their description so as to avoid a bad feedback score from somebody that gets mad after receiving their purchase. I got something I wasn't too happy with once and let the seller know about it but also took blame for not asking the right questions. I refused to take advantage of a discount they offered to make me happy and told them I just wanted to let them know my perspective of the deal. I got and gave good feedback score and have purchased from them after this.
