I would like to see pics of this case. I'm always interested in how guys store their razors.

1 small tub of renaissance wax, and 4 vintage blades, one is a mappin & webb with a blade identical to a 5/7 set I bought. Different scales (Look like ivory) where the 5/7 set I bought has black scales. Will change the scales to match the 5/7 set, and hold on to the white ones from this new mappin for either another project or for spares for another ivory set I have.

Also, in the post, but on the way to gssixguns for restoration, rather than to me, I have the 5/7 mappin set mentioned above. Bought on ebay, was used by Joseph Miceli at the Carlyle Hotel on Madison Avenue who worked there for 50 odd years, and had kennedy and truman as clients. Arranged stat dec from his grandson (who was selling them) with ID and some other documentation, confirming the history of the set. Cool bit of history I thought.
It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice

Nothing exciting right now. Just refills on alum, Alcolado Glacial, and Speick cream. I'm trying to save my hobby money for the Ashville meet-up next month.......

One small thuringian hone. I just received a project stone last week that I have lapped and tried out. Smooth as silk. A Great Britain stone of unknown origin. Maybe Charnley or Llyn Idwal. Works with water for slurry or Smith's Solution alone. Softer than Arkansas, but not by much.
