Thread: Can i use shaving cream

to throw a spanner in the works;
I have and still do on occasion lather up with the hand soap in the divot on the sink. This is I must add only when in a big rush to get out the door in the morning.

Geeez, some of my best and closest straight razor shaves were with canned Barbesol shave cream (or foam - whatever you want to call it). I think both Dollar Tree and .99 Cent Only stores carry Barbesol.

My only gripe with canned shave cream is that you can never get all the product out before the propellant runs out. Otherwise I've found nothing wrong with the canned stuff.

I also prefer to use a mug and brush.
