    Ain't that the truth. For what it's worth, I agree with Ben. To which end, go Tony Miller, high end goods plus cheap practise strop… no-brainer.

    Don't worry, I wasn't trying to be a downer... I have just been known to nick myself a number of times while using my gillette sensor (though not since I started following the preperatory practices I found in reading about straight razor shaving), so any scenario in which I do not get a number of dings is pure fantasy.

    But I don't mind, I intend on shaving slowly (but smoothly, no stopping!) and learning quickly so I can leave the bleeding to the birds.
