    Default Muscle memory kicking in

Just got done with a beautiful experience. Sure it's not BBS everywhere but at this point I really don't care. No burn or cuts. Now I realize the blade pressure really does make a difference. At first I felt I had to force the blade through the whiskers. Not the case. My strokes are much more confident and fluid. My left hand is almost to the point where it mimics the right. I also just realized how my hair grows. Outward on my face and neck. I always just assumed it grew in a downward direction. So a ATG pass will have to be almost horizontal. That could be pretty dangerous on the neck so I won't worry about that at this stage. Anyways thought I'd share.

Once you get over that initial hump, your progress will accelerate.

Progress that is slow and stead is the key to this craft. Sounds like you're on the right track.
