    Default Shaving passess

I'm trying to get a sence of what is the norm among straight razor shavers when it comes to shave frequency, both saving and passes.

So if you would be so kind, post how many times a week you shave and how many passes you do per shave. Feel free to expound on any variation you go through, (e.g. one pass during the week, two on weekends/start the week.....end off......)

I can't really partake since I'm asking to sort of see what I should shoot for. My schedule, need for sleep, working in the field instead of office and not needing to shave, relaxed office atmosphere.... causes me to not really have a set pattern.

Well it seems a strange sort of request, but anyway, I shave every other day as I find I don't need to shave daily with a cut-throat due to the quality of the shave. And I do a two pass method with some skything on the second pass to get them sneaky sideways growing whiskers. I would shave everyday if I actually had to work outside of home I suppose though.

Every day (and my head every two days). As far as passes go that depends, it can be either of these:

    WTG - ATG
    WTG - WTG
    WTG - ATG - XTG

head is always ATG - WTG

The request is so I can gauge my shaving. The little I've been able to work it in, I find that maybe two passes everyday is too much. Now thats either my skin can only take one pass a day or my technique is off. So far it seems most shave, three passes a day.

    Keep'em coming.

For those who shave every three or so days, is it because your skin doen't let you shave more frequently or is it that your beard only needs to be shaved that often?

6-7 days a week, usually I take off on Saturdays but I will shave if need be.
For each SR shave, I do WTG, ATG/XTG, and finally an extra ATG/XTG combo under my jaw and on my neck.
