Thread: Just finished my first straight shave... never going back!

Hey folks,

I've been stalking this forum for a few weeks now, genuinely intrigued by the world of wet shaving. I finally ordered my Sight Unseen deal from Larry at whippeddog, picked up some Taylor of Old Bond soap, and got to shaving...

All I can say is WOW! I never knew that shaving could be a cool thing, and that there were so many cool things to put on your face. Even though I only trusted myself to do one WTG pass on my face for this initial run, I'm hooked. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and learning from your expertise.

I tell people that I know that I straight razor shave and they think I'm nuts... If they only knew.
