Default "Out for Delivery" according to USPS Tracking

My first straight razor (and accessories) checked in to my local post office at 4:06AM from Medina, OH and are marked as "Out for Delivery". Big thanks to SRD's fast shipping and great advice form the new guy. I should have my first straight shave tonight. I haven't been this excited to get something in the mail in while. I feel like a little kid on Christmas. Time to watch some last minute videos and get out my favorite brush and the Tabac soap (and the alum block). Any last famous words for my first shave?

Be patient and take your time, learning to shave with a straight razor is a journey to be enjoyed.

You're starting on a great path - I love Tabac and alum. Great soap. Great scent. +1 (whole bunch of times) to Lynn's suggestion!

Yeah, I have been wet shaving for about 2 months. Tried about 4 or 5 different soaps and a couple of creams. Tabac is not my favorite scent, but it lathers and shaves so great. And I am German, so partial to it being made there.
