Good luck with your choice. They are both fantastic razors and you won't go wrong with either one.

Word has it that T-Is come fairly sharp from the factory nowadays. Much better than Dovo from what I understand. Good luck!

Me 2,I have both. Both are fine shavers. My TIs are always sharp and ready. The Dovo,a Facharbeit 80,after honing is also sharp and ready, unfortunately the so called 'skilled razorsmith' as claimed could not spell Germany correctly,it became Slrmany instead.

A very wise choice, just get it to shave ready and you will certainly enjoy your razor and shave.

As others have said, they're both strong choices.

But face reality.. you're going to own both sooner or later!

LOL Dave, you're in trouble. SRAD is a killer!

Just remember, this isn't a sprint, so take your time to smell the flowers (or the shaving soap) along the way. The razors will still be there, but the experiences gained during your first months of straight shaving are irreplaceable. It's not all about the gear, though the gear is a wonderful thing.
