This is what Leon wrote to me "The Semogue 2015 is the 730 model in Oak handle. The hair is the same. Since so many people started ordering the 730 with the oak handle, I had to give it a distinct model name and since the 2010 is the oak handle in pure bagder hair, a number greater than that makes all the sense."

It's true: at the time I wrote the review, model n° 730 was available with acrylic handle and with oak handle. I too noticed that they rewarded the oak handle with its own designation, but I couldn't figure out why it was such a completely different number. Thanks for explaining it.
After 6 months of exclusively using my 2015 aka 730 with oak handle, I am as happy as ever with the brush. It has yet to shed a single hair, and it still performs as good as the day I got it.
