    Default Vulfix 2006 Pure Badger

I purchased this nice and small pure badger several months ago from Bullgooseshaving.com with the idea that an inexpensive badger could handle creams and soaps. Wow I was not disappointed. All I've done is make loads of lather from soap in a matter of seconds. I like it so much I recently ordered another just like it from the Shave Shack. At about $18 its a bargain. To me the badger feels like silvertip but its not. How do they do it?

    Default Badger Vulfix Brush

This one was sold under the Col. Conk name and I think it was the best one they offered and was around $55. It does everything well and its very cost effective.

When it said made in England, I knew it was Vulfix or Rooney. The Col. Conk site says Vulfix makes their brushes.

It has a great balance between top softness and Bristle Stiffness. It works well between soaps and creams. It also holds water well enough to do a decent job lathering.

It never lost any hairs and it is submerged in water every shave and the knot always stays fixed. Very impressive performance for the money.
