    Default tgn badger knot

i'm looking to buy a badger knot from the golden nib since they are a great deal for the price. i saw that they sell the brush handles too. the handle is about $20. i'm dont have much experience in working with wood, so i think buying the handle would be my best bet. has anyone bought a golden nib knot and made their own handle for it? is their knots tightly packed and of good quality?
if anyone who has a golden nib brush could offer some information on their experience, that would be great. also feel free to post pictures! thanks!

I use Golden nib knots a lot for the brushes I make and they are of excellent quality.
His Two band Finest are very nice with good density and backbone and the Silvertip knots are also well packed.

I have done 3 brush restores so far using their knots and I am happy with all three, I would recommend the overstuffed knots

Have used well over 100 TGN knots,Tony and his products are all first rate.
My prefferance are his grade A Silvertips,100% natural color, not hand trimmed.

Is there any web-shop other than TGN where I can find badger knots?

thanks everyone for your inputs. one more quick question; i don't have much experience in making things out of wood or any material for that matter. if i do plan to buy a brush handle, is there any other company that makes them besides tgn?

I have used a number of TGN knots, both two and three band, and have been pleased with all of them. The Grade A Silvertip is my favorite.
