    Default My first high-end brush.

I've been looking for a high-end brush to replace at least partially, my first badger, a base model Fendrihan I picked up new for about $30 a few years ago.

Over the weekend, I pulled the trigger on this Rooney "Emillion" in size 2 with two band super silver tip badger. It should be here by Thursday, or so.

    Overall brush height: 110mm
    Handle height: 60mm
    Brush Loft: 50mm
    Knot diameter: 25mm

You wont regret it, for me half of the fun of straight razor shaving is the pampering aspect, and a high end brush is great at pampering your face.

That is a very handsome brush
    Congratulations!
I would love to hear how you find it to perform once you have given it a good few shaves.

You may never need another brush. That is a fine one....
Do see your doctor and get inoculated for "BAD".

Great looking brush, I'm still on my $30 brush. Have been looking around for something better so let us know how it goes for you.
    Enjoy

Wayne, my good man, you have done yourself great service by giving that Rooney a nod. Good stuff. Here's to more jolly shaves.

    Regards,

    Obie
