    Default womens brushes?

hello ladies and gents. i have been wet shaving for some time now and recently my girlfriend has found an interest in it as well. and i got a DE to start because she is still scared of straights, but i am looking for a brush for her. possibly with a longer handle like the one aos offers. just looking at my options. any help would be much appreciated.

He has done a few specifically for the ladies and they are pretty darn impressive...

All you need is some pink paint for the appropriate modification. YWIA.

Actually, I don't see why they have to be different. They are pretty much unisex items unless you want a different motif like a pink handle or cut glass or something like that.

Amen! My wife doesn't shave with a DE or straight, but she loves the soap & brush. Hers is a set that I picked up on the bay that had a M3, stand, and a silvertip brush. If you get a set like this, make sure the stand is Stainless or you will end up with a rust ring on the tub...we have a new one now.

like glen said, check out deighaingeal here on SRP. He recently made me a pink brush out of acrylic for my Fiance, and I just gave it to her today for her birthday, needless to say, I'm basking in brownie points :-)

I have turned a few in pink ivory. Quite nice actually. I have one with a 26mm knot that works nice. Made a set of pink ivory scales for a big Dorko to match.

I don't think that they have to be different, but I've read a few places where longer handles were preferable as the ladies have farther to reach, and a broader knot helps too. NO personal experience on my end though.

    FWIW, YMMV

thanks to all! i found one it happened to cost me a trip to the AOS but it earned me a lot of brownie points giving it as a "i love you gift" as a few of you said turning one pink would probably do it. but i found one at AOS that has a nice knot and is also on stem that is about 8 inches long so she can get her whole let with out having to stretch to much
