I was going to ask if the chess piece is an actual chess set, but reading your descriptions I see you carved it yourself, very nice and it sure looks quite big. I was thinking about making one but didn't wanna steal ideas. I really like the shape and wood of #1, might have to look into finding some.

I "stole" my idea from Otto. Actually I think there was a guy making "chess piece" brushes and selling them. I've seen a Rook and a Bishop as well as Otto's cool brush!
