    Default 5-Minute Bamboo Brush Handle

While shopping at Lee Valley for honing tools and scale material I noticed they sold inexpensive badger knots. I had an old table leg all ready to turn into a handle when I went to toss something in a dumpster and found a couple bamboo tiki torches someone had tossed.

Took one home, sawed off a couple inches, used my drill press to spin it so I could sand a taper in the mouth and hot-glued the badger in place.

    Presto.

I like it. I usually don't like the shapes of brushes. But this on speaks to me. I love it.

    It's elegant in it's simplicity.

    I like it a lot.

I'm sure the badger who donated the hair would be proud of that.

I really like this. I have a few boar knots sitting around waiting for homes, if I happen across some bamboo I might give it a try, hope you don't mind.
