New brush question
Hey everyone. I've been using my dads and grandpa's brushes (both banded boar) for quite a while now even before i thought about straights. I recently decided to buy "my own" brush. It's a Kent and I love the looks, however, only using it twice I've noticed it's a little pricklier than what I'm used to. The question is... Will it soften up or will I get used to it. I have washed it with shampoo and conditioner. Any advise is appreciated!

It should soften up over time. The only thing you could do to speed the process would be to make extra bowls of practice lather to help the tips soften faster. Otherwise, probably up to a month, the tips will soften with use.
Cheers!

You didn't say if your new brush is a boar or a badger. If it's a boar it will soften over time. If it's a pure badger which are prickly it will soften less so than a boar would.

I've got a best badger. Or maybe it's pure, I can't remember...
Anyhoo, after a week or two either the pricklyness faded or my face manned up. Either way, I'm pretty happy.
