Super Badger VS Silver Tip Badger brushes
Hello all! I have not been able to be on the site as much as I did in the summer (classes are kicking my butt!!) Anywho i have a question... I have a Super badger Caswell-Massey shaving brush and i just cannot tell the difference between it and another silver tip brush! The group buy snuck up on me and i can't afford to get the SRP brush.. unless you want to hook me up Lynn ;D..!! lol anyways give me yalls professional opinions.. and if yall have pics of a super badger brush and silvertip post them up to differentiate the two!! thanks

To my knowledge Superbadger is a term used by Vulfix for their Silvertips. They are one in the same and probably (since CM doesn't make them) they are made by Vulfix.

What TBS said. Simpson calls it Super, Rooney called it Finest, while Plisson called theirs High Mountain White (HMW). So unfortunately there is no standard nomenclature for the grades of badger bristle from one manufacturer to another.

Super badger is basically silvertip that is treated resulting in softer and whiter tips.
