    Default Cleaning a Used Brush?

What is the best way to clean a used brush that was purchased from another wet shaver?

Personally, I have this thing about used brushes but if I didn't I would say a good bath in some antiseptic soap maybe multiple times should clean it up. I always worry what's down deep in the knot that you might not reach.

Check out the video for a used brush or one you've had awhile.

There are a lot of different opinions about this. The vinegar and borax method has been mentioned quite a bit. I just take some dishwashing liquid (Dawn or the like), mix it with water in a glass, and put the brush in for 5 or 10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.

I have heard horror stories about leaving brushes to soak overnight, however, and I distinctly remember deciding that this was definitely something to avoid!

    I use Dettol products.
