Default How to turn a wooden shave brush video

I know a lot of you wanted to see how I did my shaving brushes, so I finally got around to making a rig to hold my camcorder and getting some footage. In this video I use all the normal tools I would normally use, and the material is just a basic single block of wood. I'm planning on doing some other videos showing how to turn a brush with just basic accessories and basic tools, as well as more complicated handles and of course some acrylic.

This video is just raw footage which I hope to get cleaned up, and trim some of the dead spots that don't need to be there. At one point I double check on my phone for the loft setting I need, and my wife even yells down at me cause my youngest needed to go pee. There's a few spots like this that need to be cut out. Also, once I start sanding it gets kinda boring so you can skip over that if you'd like. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hope you like it. I'm a bit nervous posting this for all you guys to see so be nice.

Thank you for taking the time to make the film. Enjoyed watching and picked up a few tips. After you've sold a few of those you can use the proceeds for a new pair of pants.

Haha. I have 3 pairs of those pants and love them. They're insulated work pants covered in caulking.

Pants can be as much a work of art as your brushes. It's all that accidental soiling that adds character to them.

Would love to see your video broken down onto three videos. The initial turning and hole for the knot. The second turning the rest of the brush head and the third the finishing steps. (Actually a fourth - not a video - where you send the brush to me.)
