Default FS: A couple budget blades

I got a couple razors here that I think I can let go pretty cheaply, so yay for budget blades!

The first one is a 5/8 "De-Fi 34" with a chip way in the back. It doesn't look like it can be ground down, but it shouldn't bother you when shaving, and it'll be an excellent razor to see if you really want to get into the hobby or not. $20 shipped Con-US. Not shave ready.

The next one is a Wester Bros "Yankee Shaver No 3". It has a very small ding about half way up the blade, but it hasn't seen much hone wear and can easily be honed out. Despite some pitting, the blade is mostly mirrored finished. Not shave ready. Also a budget razor: $30 shipped Con-US.

That chip on the De-Fi would definitely bother me while shaving. I wouldn't recommend anyone trying to shave with either of those blades until the nicks are out. Those aren't small nicks, those are large and look dangerous to me. Even that small nick in the blade of the 2nd razor is all the way through the bevel

Not to say they aren't a good deal at those low prices though as fix-up razors Just hoping potential newcoming buyers are aware

Thanks for helping to clarify hoglahoo. As for the first one, the point in the chip can be rounded out so it won't be a problem, but will hone quickly. The second one will take quite a bit of honing on 1000 or 500 to take out since it is just past the bevel. I'll take $5 off of each, so $15 for the first, $25 for the second.

    Great fixer-upers for the price.

Man, I definately would not want to be the one to hone those chips out.
