    Default WTB: DMT D6E

Wow, the title looks encrypted or something, doesn't it?

Gents, I'm looking for a DMT D6E (Extra fine) 6x2x1/4 in. hone.

I've looked everywhere and haven't found a cheap source within the EU.
Also, the non-EU (American) stores don't accept international shipping.

Anyone has one of these to sell?

    Thank you

I bought my DMT D8E & D8EE at CuttleryShoppe and at the The Perfect Edge.

    Both do international shippings.

    From Cutlery Shoppe:

"Due to the amount of time that it takes to process foreign shipments, we require a $100 minimum."

The DMT's from theperfectedge.com are too expensive.

    I want to cry

Well, I mass mailed my request to all of those vendors. I hope some of them can sell me a DMT.

    Thanks for everything, gents!

I spent a few nights roaming the World Wide Web, while researching this about 6 months ago. In the US you can order DMT D6 hones for about 18$ + shipment.
When you buy exactly the same product in one of the EU countries you have to pay 45 euro + shipment and more.
One, but not the only, example:
Messerundmehr.de - Messer für Outdoor, Freizeit, Küche und Haushalt - DMT Diamant-Schärfer - extra fein - 294700 extra fein
THAT'S FOUR TIMES AS MUCH, for crying out loud.
In the end, I got mine from Cutlery Shoppe, adding a few other items I could use.
A friend of mine is also looking for one, I'm sure he would be interested in a joined purchase.
Maybe we can turn this thing in some sort of European group buy? Ship them in bulk to Europe and redistribute them from here?
Just a thought. I'd be willing to coordinate.

    Bart.
